The name "Sheng Fang" is derived from the ancient Chinese grain measuring vessel, the Sheng. In form, it represents stability and abundance. Culturally, the word "Sheng" (升) means "to rise" or "ascend." Therefore, this teapot carries the auspicious meaning of Bu Bu Gao Sheng—"Rising step by step," symbolizing continuous promotion, growth in one's career, and an increase in prosperity.

Design & Cultural Meaning

This 190ml teapot is a classic example of "Fang Huo" (Square Ware), which is significantly more difficult to craft by hand than round teapots due to the need for precise angles and structural balance.
